I was listening to some kids when I was walking down the street today, and they were telling their Mum (walking in front of me) about how one of them wanted to be an astronaut when he grows up, and one wanted to save the world and help all those 'hungry kids on tv' (World Vision are starting them young I see!), and another said he wanted to be an internet man... ahh, bless. Welcome to the 21st century. Not sure if 'internet man' meant an IT technician or web designer or YouTube star, but anyway, it got me thinking.
What do you want to be in, say, five years time. Ten years. What do you see yourself studying? Do you think what you study will ultimately determine your career? Will you change careers 100 times? Will you pursue hobbies and interests like building homes for villages in Africa, or run marathons for charity, or join a model railway club? Do you dream of bungee jumping off the Eiffel Tower?
It's crazy how much things change from when we're kids... so how are you seeing things happening?

When I'm older I want to be a whole lot of things and have accomplished heaps, but most of all I still want to be mates with, or at least have contact with all my high school friends. Sometimes I hate thinking about when we leave secondary school because I know that we are all going to take different and varying journeys and I like things just how they are at the moment. Everythings so care-free and it's all about having a bit of a laugh, enjoying life - and this may seem a tad naive but I wish it would last forever! It would be stink just to say "see ya later" and not see your ole buddies again until some class reunion 20 years down the track. I don't know if other people feel the same or not, just my opinion eh!

I wanna get a bachelor of performing and screen arts and be full on with my dancing. Possibly also looking at service in Air Force for a couple of years... not sure...

Travel! Definately.
So much I want to do, just depends what the future holds really.

Hmm. Well I could say I want to be a person who saves the world, or makes a difference, contributes to countries in poverty but I know I don't really want to do that, the media wants me toI Really I want to be an architect, interior or exterior designer. Ultimately all of them with a business degree and open up my own firm which offers all three so clients only needed to goto one place and possible team up with a building firm.
But I don't see that all happening, as I know sporting hobbies are things I will never be able live without. So I'm also hoping to travel a bit even if it involves working as I travel to do everything I actually have a passion for.

Be a biscuit! Nah, but that pretty much has been my main idea since i was like 8, 9 years down the track and i should probably change my fantasy of being part of the baked goods family
In the ideal world where my parents let out a bit more rein and i pass like..everything in school and still manage to have friends and not get hit by a falling fridge and die or anything, I want to:
Go fruit picking with some mates to make some money and have fun
get a house bus and travel around NZ for awhile
join a Gypsy fair
go to uni and study environmental management and maybe pick up a job somewhere like DOC(cept ive heard they don't pay good til you get up the ranks a bit) or be like a...person who tells companies what affect their stuff will have on the environment kinda thing. And amongst all this be a tattoo artist and part-time photographer come guitar painter/car painter.
I'm going to be busy, and very, very poor haha.
