Environment and Youth Link to this post

when it comes to the environment generally there is education, interest and personal application over most age groups, young and old. however once you leave primary school, all of a sudden other things take personal priority e.g. homework, conformity, friends, afterscholl jobs and for a few years the hot topic of the Environment and sustaining our environment by reducing our carbon foot print is'nt such a 'hot' topic.
i'm interested in knowing what you are doing, if it's anything or nothing, to reduce your carbon footprint. i know that there are so many people out there doing great things who don't get any recognition for what it is that they do!
does anyone have any idea in how we can involve more of our youth into caring for and looking after the environment? before it's too late!
